Job Details Description Job Code: N73 Are you looking for a rewarding and impactful new opportunity?  Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Senior, Embedded Systems Engineer supporting the Nuclear Weapons Acquisition Division, AFLCMC/NDB, Eglin AFB FL, which is part of the AF Nuclear Weapons Center. This Division has responsibility for developing, testing, and producing systems and components related to nuclear strategic weapon systems for our nation's warfighters.  These products include the B61-12 Tailkit Assembly and the Long Range Standoff (LRSO) missile. Job Responsibilities: Duties include:  Design and application of Real-Time Operating Systems used for guidance and control, GPS navigation, real-time execution of special operations and implementation of safety controls; Applications of commercially available microprocessor units (MPUs) that utilize written code to operate control systems, execute requirements from special algorithms (e.g., Kalman filters), control and operate peripheral equipment, and manage data transfer and communication; application of languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, visual basic,.Net, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, ADA, and Assembly; Applications using high-speed Digital Signal Processors (DSPs); Electronic circuit and digital logic design using Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs); analysis and design of interface control systems that use standard bus specifications (e.g., RS-422, RS-485, RS-232, UART, and VME) to develop Interface Control Documents (ICDs) that assure that different components of a system or systems operate with each other; Analog to digital (A/D) and digital to analog (D/A) converters that prepare signals for transmission and/or analysis; Transmission of digitally coded information on a High-Speed Serial Buses (HSSBs) that use Low Voltage Differential Signaling (LDVS) for the physical medium; Design of special transmitters and receivers (on the input sections) of FPGAs that employ standard technologies offered by FPGA manufacturers (e.g., Rocket I/O from the Xilinx Corp.; Development of software documentation for planning, requirements definition, design, and test; and the application of industry standards such as ISO 9000, Capability Maturity Model (CMM), and CMM Integration (CMMI). The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
