Assistant Store Manager

Description:
oAssume responsibility and accountability for all daily operations of the store in the absence of a Store Manager
oAssist in the recruitment, training, and development of store personnel
oProvide the best customer experience to every customer
oGreet every guest with a smile and sincere "Hello"
oDemonstrate leadership and promote teamwork
oMaintain personal grooming and appearance at all times
oMaintain punctual attendance and dependability
oEnsure product mix and inventory levels are properly maintained in order to increase sales volume and control inventory.
oSuggest possible purchases to the customers and promote specials
oAssist with the scheduling of employee hours within established guidelines
oOperate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently
oOrder, receive, and maintain controls for merchandise inventory
oStock shelves and refrigerated coolers
oBe directly responsible for all fund reconciliation and inventory audits
oPrepare or supervise preparation of all paperwork as specified by the Store Manager
oMaintain an awareness of safety and security and report to the Store Manager any accidents or incidents that occur
oEnsure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws within the scope of the convenience/food store operation
oManage the maintenance of the environment inside and around the perimeter of the store
oExhibit personal accountability for every action
oEnsure that all personnel know and follow all company policies and procedures
Assistant Store Manager Requirements:
oPrevious supervisory experience in convenience store, retail, fast food, or restaurant operations is desired
oAbility to effectively perform in a fast-paced work environment
oMust be able to work a flexible shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays in order to provide management coverage when the Store Manager is not present
oAbility to bend down, stoop low, and stand for at least 8 hours
oAbility to properly lift, pull, and/or push up to 50 lbs
oSuccessfully complete certification testing as needed
oMS Outlook, Word, and Excel skills
oCurrent driver's license and reliable vehicle
oAbility to successfully pass a drug screen
oAbility to successfully pass a criminal background investigation

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
