We are looking for individuals who are capable of working in a high-volume pediatric dental practice while providing the highest level of customer service, exhibit multi-tasking abilities, adhere to time management skills, and maintain strong positive relationships with patients and staff.
Responsibilities:
Treats patients, staff and visitors with courtesy, sensitivity, and respect.
Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
Adheres to clinical schedules and notifies clinical staff of patient arrival.
Adheres to practice policies and procedures.
Resolve patient request, questions and complaints frequently requiring analysis of situations to determine best use of resources.
Build and maintain positive business relationships with patients by providing prompt and accurate services.
Collects and verifies appropriate patient demographic and insurance information.
Completes any patient paperwork required for appointment.
Conducts insurance verification for eligibility of services.
Verifying information within patient electronic health records is current.
Prints visit summaries, collect patient's payments and posts to accounts.
Reviews patient's financial responsibilities regarding non-covered services.
Schedules return appointments are indicated by clinical team.
Maintains patient confidentiality.
Participates in cross training activities.
