HX5 is currently seeking an Operations Support Specialist to join our team in Niceville, FL.
This position requires normal business hours, Monday-Friday.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support the Program Management Office (PMO) and Program Managers in the management DoD prime contracts and subcontracts.
Track complex contract travel requirements, funding, and expenses.
Manage contract employees Travel Authorization Requests (TAR) and their timely filing of expense reports, assisting them as needed.
Familiarity with the DoD/State Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) and the DoD environment or Government travel is preferred.
Experience using SAP Concur and Deltek Costpoint is helpful.
Interact with employees, teammates, government customers, contracting officials, auditors, etc.
Assist the PMO staff and contract employees in coordinating issues with the corporate departments such as Human Resources, Finance, Contracting/Subcontracting and Security.

Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university preferred and a minimum of six (6) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three years of experience in the government contract DoD environment preferred.
Ability to demonstrate discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality a must.
Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail required.
Experience with travel management systems/software is highly desirable.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
Effective use of Excel is critical, to include understanding mathematical formulas across multiple sheets.
